Iberibe is an Igbo word that means stupidity and what Phyno the musicians is trying to let us know is that stupidity gives a mad man morale. The stupider he is,the better.

Have you ever boarded a cab in Nigeria with a bad mouthed driver? You can’t beat that driver in the flow of profane words. You can’t engage him in that type of discussion and leave the vehicle a sane person. An American saying avers that “Never wrestle with a pig, you just get dirty and the pig likes it”.

Are you aware of the political leader who propounded the philosophy of “iberiberism”? “It means continuous exhibition of stupidity” I bet you, you can’t beat that leader in acts of political idiocy and lunacy. To understand this philosophy of “iberiberism” better, I will give an example of an event that transpired some weeks ago in Imo state when the South East zone of the ruling party held their rally at Dan Anyiam stadium.

The Governor advised all to vote for Incumbent president and vote his in-law from another party as the Governor. The party of his in-law went as far as disrupting the rally of another party. To understand this act better, you must go back earlier to the definition of “iberiberism” and know that you can never be more iberibecious or iberiberistic than the propounder of the philosophy of iberiberism because it gives them morale.

Shine your eyes and don’t join the train of Iberiberism.. it leads to no where.
