                                       BECOMING A MAN (BAM) © 2019                                      CHIBU NDUBUISI                         WEEK 8 2019                                   “To be a man is not a day’s job”                        Peace be upon you     Going through the 2019 Annual Letter of the Bill& Melinda Gates foundation, they noted in the report about their visit to a prison facility to learn about the link between poverty and incarceration. Helping to support programmes that help in smooth transition, the University of Chicago ran an intervention programme "Becoming A Man" (BAM) that works to improve impulse control, help decision making, build skills of young men and help reduce violent crimes that normally exist among young people and normally ends in incarceration or death and came to the conclusions that such programmes works.. In Nigeria we have such intervention programmes carried out by religious bodies to help
