Netizen is a term derived from the combination of the words "Internet" and "citizen." The term netizen is used to describe people who use the Internet to participate in or contribute to an Internet group or society. The word may also be used to describe an individual who spends a lot of time on the net. Special thanks goes to Sir Tim Berners Lee for his invention of the “World Wide Web” and the important decision to give it away for free. The United Nation Human Right Council (UNHCR) adopted a landmark resolution protecting online freedom of expression as a human right. it is no longer a child's play.
