We often hear about the expression “Shallow thinking” to show of a person or his ideas not grounded or showing serious understanding of a situation. How do we develop thinking patterns that are shallow? What parameters can we use to evaluate when shallow thinking is holding sway over deep understanding of a phenomenon? How can we possibly remedy ourselves when confronted with half-baked ideas? How do we develop thinking patterns that are shallow?
