The stupider he is,the better. Have you ever boarded a cab in Nigeria with a bad mouthed driver? You can’t beat that driver in the flow of profane words. You can’t engage him in that type of discussion and leave the vehicle a sane person. An American saying avers that “Never wrestle with a pig, you just get dirty and the pig likes it”. Are you aware of the political leader who propounded the philosophy of “iberiberism”? “It means continuous exhibition of stupidity” I bet you, you can’t beat that leader in acts of political idiocy and lunacy.                                    DOMESTIC HELPERS CAN BE DIGNIFIED                                         © 2019 CHIBU NDUBUISI WEEK 2, 2019 Peace be upon you. Domestic helpers are those who help us out in our homes or sometimes offices. They help in making sure that our homes or offices look decent. They cover other errands which we might be too busy to cover as a result other engagement which takes most of our time hence their assistance becomes necessary to make life easier. In Nigeria, we refer to them as “House boys” or “House girls” as the case may be. Over the years, many of the people who offer this important services to us are dehumanized and deserving no respect. They are subjected to torture, humiliation, sexual exploitation, intimidation and ostracized from even the family they are assisting. I am not here to give examples about families that are not getting right but if you need examples look around you examples abound

As the first post for the year, I am starting with asking some pertinent question like, what am I giving my freedom to and what I am freeing myself from? I will give my freedom more to my family; I will work towards cementing old friendships and use my talents, skills and mind productively towards reducing ignorance. Going through an article published by Bill Gates titled “What I learned at work this year”, he noted that he will commit more to Alzheimer research by making it easier for researches to share information from their studies, he averred that he will still commit more resources to eradication of polio, help in working how out how to reduce “Greenhouse Emission” and help in disease preparedness.
