AREWA YOUTHS; HATE NOT THE IGBOS BUT CELEBRATE THEM                                           By Chibu   Ndubuisi   18/09/2017 Peace be to you. “When love is conditional, it last as long as the conditions last but when it is unconditional and irrational it never ceases. Same formula applies to hate. When hate is conditional, it last as long as the conditions last but when hate is unconditional and irrational it never ceases and cannot be reasoned with”. That is why after the 1967-1970 genocide against the Igbos, the Arewa youths can’t stop hating the Igbos because they are a successful people anywhere they are.   To be hated because you are a very successful people, a very educated people, a very successful entrepreneurial oriented people, and a people with a strong egalitarian nature is an irrational hate and can never end because the Igbos can never stop   succeeding. Why are the Igbos hated? I am going to hypothesize that; ·         They are hated because they are

MILESTONES: MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS By Chibu Ndubuisi 11/09/2017 Peace be to you. Today is my birthday. I have lived productively for a total of 12,882 days on earth. To get the age divide by 365 and you understand that the man is not getting younger. The reason I did this calculation is because of the bible verse of Psalm 90;12 that says “teach us to number our days that we may apply our heart to wisdom”. I am numbering my days now, and have come to realize that, it is the best way to “count your blessings”. When i look back, I only see the hand God with me. Moses saw God’s back at the mountain and not the front. To see God’s presence in your life just look back. I set out this year by asking WHY? I got answers that unraveled many things to me and I started replacing probability thinking with possibility thinking. I learnt that some problems I had to pass through in life, was to increase my value. I learnt that the same hot water that hardens the egg softens the potato

STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE:   THE POLITICS OF FOOD IS READY                       By CHIBU NDUBUISI 04/09/2017 “Many people worry about their own stomach and the state of other people’s soul but the real task is to worry about other people’s stomach and the state of our own soul”. Jonathan Sacks   Peace be to you. The neologism “stomach infrastructure” was coined by a Nigerian Governor Ayodele Fayose as a realistic political approach geared towards satisfying the primary constituency of the hunger of his political followers by rewarding them with cash. The UNDP report of 1994 list seven dimension of human security to include; economic security, food security, health security, community security, environmental security, personal security and political security. The SDG goal number 2 equally comes to confirm the importance of food and why hunger must be fought by all because it diminishes. It is no longer news that so many parents can’t feed t
