Peace be upon you.
This week, I will dwell on what administrative mask can turn your boss into.
·         Because they are your leaders, you think that they have all the solutions and answers to all problems and questions. They don’t, but some pretend to do.
·         They have insecurities like you do about the uncertainties of life and what life holds tomorrow. Understand this and don’t expect much.
·         Some of them are kind hearted, wackos and crazy as you already have the facts. Let them be.
·         They will show favoritism to some and deal ruthlessly with some others. That is how it has been.
·         They are not saints neither are they devils. They are humans with frailties and faults.
·         They want more connections and contacts because no one knows or has it all.
·         They want to be loved and remembered for making great contributions to the society. Don’t feel bad about that.
·         They are not always right but they want you to always behave and think upright all the time.
·         They expect you to use your initiative even if they are living on other people’s initiatives.
·         They want you to obey all instructions even if they have benefited greatly from subverting some of them before and continuously do so.
·         They want you to compromise your values, your health and family. Don’t fall into that trap.
·         They want people who they can confide in and lean on when things are hard. Offer them help.
·         The use the loo like you. They equally fart as you do. Bear with them when that happens.
·         They are involved in office romance; don’t drag any office treasure with them.
·         They want to be seen as fixers even if they can’t fix themselves. Understand with them.
·         They want to be told sweet words on their birthdays. Do that if you can.
·         They are capable of lifting some people up and bringing some down. Try to avoid them when they are dancing naked.
·         They are equally growing old. Don’t try to remind them. They already know.
·         Some of them are very ignorant on many issues. Don’t feel bad all the time about their decisions.
·         They want to be seen as bright, strong willed, movers and shakers. Give them the chance to feel that way.
·         They are very fast to scold you by asking you if you are stupid by acting in a certain way. Don’t worry, all the decisions they have taken in their lives were not always right.
·         They want you to understand with them all the times. Pretend that you do even if they are nonentities.
·         When you can’t change the circumstances surrounding your life with that of your boss, leave it for posterity and fate to play its role.
