To borrow a leaf from the hit song of P Square brothers titled “Nobody ugly”, as a stark reminder to all of us about our innate beauty, that beauty is not in the face but a light in our hearts and that when we begin to learn a new way to think that contributes positively to the world, our beauty radiates and shines.

I love this quote, that “if an egg is broken by outside forces, life ends. If it is broken by inside force, life begins. Great things always begins from the inside” only when we realize that nobody is ugly. When people begin to see how beautiful your heart is, only then will it be difficult for them to leave you because together with you they can create a future of melody, harmony and beauty. When your heart is beautiful, you have been saved to save others, blessed to bless others and empowered to empower others.

As musicians, more “food of love”, as doctors, we will heal, as economist and business men, we will reduce poverty, as administrators, we will not be vindictive with our positions, as public or civil servants, we will serve with our hearts, as politicians, we will play politics without bitterness but with principle.

Our beauty can glow more as a nation when we choose to tell ourselves the truth and properly define the terms of our nationhood. When we pontificate that the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable, we are giving room for the evil of tyranny. Societies evolve and in the evolutionary process, resolutions are passed, summits are organized, political settlements reached, civil society contributions made, international gathering organized, consultations made, conferences held and diplomatic initiatives also comes to play. This is how seeds of peace are sown and not by grandstanding of some political leaders.

Nigeria is a beautiful bride named "sexybootilicious twister" by P Square brothers, and that is why the actors in the Nigerian system are making sure that it remains raped by their actions and inaction. They should be aware that the” game of peace is bigger than the teams of war”, those supporters clubs of war, change the drumbeats of your gyration.

The P Square Brothers almost broke apart but when they realized that together they are beautifully made they gave us another hit track “NOBODY UGLY” to provide more “food of love"  because "music is the language of the soul" .

To heal a fractured Nigeria, our hearts must be beautiful enough to say yes to whom we are and have the courage to say no to whom we are not. The courage to keep dialoguing and taking positive actions as a nation on the way to “promised land” of peace is sacrosanct.

When we have the courage to say no to whom we are not,  the name on "insta"  as the P Square Brothers sang  will now change from “sexybootilicious twister” nation to “Nwanyi obi oma na edozi ulo ya” (A woman of pure heart that builds her home) without twisting or continuously raping any section of the nation in to coma.
