Peace be upon you.

I had great difficulties trying to use my fingers to put up this piece of “Doing Fingers & Blaming Fingers” . Doing fingers is about adding value, solving problems, generating ideas that heals. Blaming fingers on the other hand is about abdication of responsibility and enabling the spirit of escapism.

This article is for those who have not kept on shifting their goal post endlessly when all odds and obstacle stare them in the face. It is equally for those who keep complaining, procrastinating and fault finding on why a project must not come to be or why a solution must not be proffered. It is for those who have chosen to feed their communities through their productive activities either as craftsmen, farmers or health workers.

It was Seneca who noted that “words become works”. These works are only made manifest by Doing Fingers and not Blaming Fingers. I appreciate all those with the gift of Midas touch, turning everything they touch to gold and those with Magic fingers, who make and create magical moments for humanity.

Every day we are presented with 24hours, what  problems are we willing to solve with our fingers? Marcus Aurelius averred that “ waste no time arguing what a good man should be, be one” . I will add my voice that “we should waste no time pointing fingers at others; but take the initiative and be the doing fingers that contributes positively to humanity.
