The late Chuba Okadigbo averred and I quote;

“The PDP, which had been a big party of the people, is fast becoming a problem party---They now lie prostrate in the trauma wing of a political hospital--. So, what next? We all know that nothing succeeds like failure….”.

The presidential elections of 2015 ended Vincent’s prophesy about PDP ruling for 60 years and ushered in the government of Mohammed Buhari. The phone call by the defeated president Jonathan to the opposition candidate further cemented the defeat of PDP as all efforts to keep prodding Jonathan to stay on power failed. The mistake of Babangida who failed to hand over power to MKO Abiola is still fresh and Jonathan made sure that such historical robbery does not occur again. Prior to the elections Jonathan promised that “his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian”. His words were his bond.

The error of Yahya Jammeh of Gambia is a clear example of a leaders who doesn't t want to play by the rules and want to change the rules of a football match by half time.


The PDP started long ago in sowing the seed of their possible defeat with the type of politics they played. Their litany of woes ranges from the politics of imposition, brigandage, assassination, disrespect for rule of law, election rigging and many other vices too numerous to mention. In the throes of all these misgivings they sowed the seeds of their possible defeat. They created the “Frankenstein Monster” that finally consumed them and nullified the fake prophesy of Vincent Ogbulafor.

The one who specializes in fixing elections called ‘MR FIX IT” could not stop the defeat of PDP. Prince Secondus latter apologized to Nigerians in 2018 for the many years of PDP misrule while Senator Mantu corroborated the issues by elucidating how he aided the PDP rig elections in Nigeria.

The question for Prince Vincent Ogbulafor is, what happened to his prophesy motivated by exuberance, paranoia, hallucination and hangover? Was PDP cursed or were they the cause?
